‘Cangurito Gucci’ from Master Plus is the first of six singles to precede their new album ‘Va En Serio’ coming in spring 2024. It’s about having a good time and overcoming a recent bitter experience. It’s a fresh start with a new attitude. Accompanied by a video shot by Eduardo Méndez in Guadalajara, this new single also sees Master Plus leaving behind their cumbia beginnings and embracing a new sound influenced by the many sounds of Música Mexicana including Sierreño, Banda, Norteño and Mariachi. They are representative of a new wave of artists emerging on the scene. With help from Ramon Ontiveros and Ricardo Pinzon, the team behind Grupo Firme, this next chapter in the story of Master Plus promises to be an exciting one.
